Rosacea treatment

Rosacea affects everyone differently. Depending on the severity of your condition, location of your symptoms and the results you’re hoping for, our dermatology team might recommend one of the following courses of treatment. 

Laser Genesis treatments use a laser that heats the dermis directly under your skin to stimulate collagen production. As the skin rejuvenates, redness fades away, leaving behind clearer, more youthful looking skin. 

Excel V+ vascular laser treatments involve the use of a Vbeam laser to direct light energy at visible blood vessels. As the vessels absorb the laser light, they rupture and are absorbed into the body without harming any of the surrounding skin tissue.

Following treatment, most rosacea patients can expect to see results in roughly two to six weeks depending on the severity of their symptoms. It is important to remember however, that rosacea is a chronic condition and laser treatments are not a cure for the condition.
