Laser hair reduction (sometimes referred to as laser hair removal) is a safe procedure for all skin types. At Elements, we use a high-power 755 nm Alexandrite laser and Cutera's proven long-pulse 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser to effectively remove unwanted hair from the body. 

During a laser hair removal treatment, a practitioner directs a laser that emits a light frequency that is absorbed by melanin, a pigment found in hair. The energy from the laser light converts to heat, which acts on hair follicles to prevent or delay future hair growth. The treatment has found success with multiple skin types and skin tones.
